Short term mission work is often the spring board for a lifetime of missions. It also offers youth group members an opportunity to see a different side of the world and allow God to work through them. Each year in Honduras thousands of people are fed, clothed, and helped medically by people willing to step out in faith and be God's hands and feet. Last summer alone over 25 homes were built by groups working through Silver Mountains Ministries. But most importantly, the groups provide a community outreach for the local churches, making contacts that ultimately lead to followers of Christ. Last summer we had 15 groups join us in the work in and around Tegucigalpa and each year this number grows. We would love to have you join us.
