All kids and adults now sponsored for Christmas

Breaking Chains had dreams of making this Christmas special for those living in urban poverty whom the ministry serves. Now, thanks to the generous donations of our U.S. friends, that dream will be a reality.

We petitioned on our Facebook pages, blogs and website and generous hearts began to respond. In just five days, each of the more than 30 people profiled on Michael'sblog received a commitment of sponsorship and then some.

The plans for a Breaking Chains Christmas include a Christmas at the beach, meal and present for those living in our building, as well as a larger Christmas meal at the building for everyone else the ministry serves.

We are so excited to be able to bless others with a Christmas that they would not receive otherwise, and are grateful to the donors who have made it possible.

More information about our Christmas celebration will be posted as the events take place. If you would like to read a little more about our plans and the people they will benefit, check out the entries on Michael's blog.
