Let's break chains together...
About Breaking Chains Honduras
Amber Foster established Breaking Chains Honduras in January 2009 as a way to reach out to the marginalized, street population in the capital city of Honduras. The ministry’s mission is to serve and seek change for those affected by urban poverty in Tegucigalpa by meeting basic needs and developing human relationships that act as a gateway toward a relationship with Christ.
Current needs
-
Christmas sponsorship: This need has been met!
Thanks to generous donors, all of the children and adults living in the ministry facility have been sponsored for Christmas. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed. We are looking forward to a great holiday!
-
Building purchase
Breaking Chains is very close to becoming an established Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Honduras. Once this takes place, we can purchase the building we have been renting since 2010. The cost to purchase the building is $130,000.
-
Administrative costs
As you can see, Breaking Chains is currently working on ways to improve communication and better serve those we minister to. In order to do so, we are currently seeking donations to cover the necessary administrative expenses.
