What we do...
Breaking Chains Honduras is committed to serving those in urban poverty both physically and spiritually.
We offer a variety of services to care for the basic needs of a person, as well as services to care for them on a deeper level. So what does that look like?:
- Temporary to Semi-Permanent Living Facility
- Meal Service
- Worship and Bible Study
- Recreational Programs
- Aquaponics Farming
- Donated Item Giveaways
We have a "wish list" of services that we hope to be able to offer in the near future, including vocational and English classes, student and family sponsorship and a micro-loan program.
Meal Service
Continuing in line with how the ministry was formed, Breaking Chains offers a free meal four times per week. Meals are served every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7 p.m. and Sunday after worship.
Meals are not only a way to fill a person's stomach - it also provides a time of fellowship and opportunity to meet new people and address needs. The meal normally consists of beans and rice, sandwiches or soup and is prepared by the residents living semi-permanently in the ministry facility.
If you would like information about how to donate food or money for our meal program, please contact mail@bchonduras.org.
