What we do...

Breaking Chains Honduras is committed to serving those in urban poverty both physically and spiritually.

We offer a variety of services to care for the basic needs of a person, as well as services to care for them on a deeper level. So what does that look like?:

We have a "wish list" of services that we hope to be able to offer in the near future, including vocational and English classes, student and family sponsorship and a micro-loan program.

Worship and Bible Study

The key to breaking chains and living a life of purpose is a relationship with Jesus Christ. That we know. That is why we offer weekly opportunities to hear from the word of God and be ministered to on a group and individual level.

Each Sunday, the front room of Breaking Chains is opened up for a time of worship. The service for adults includes singing, prayer, communion and a sermon. A separate class is held upstairs for children.

Bible studies are also held each week to develop closer relationships by diving deeper into the word of God and discussing what it means for our everyday lives.

We are always looking for new ideas for bible study and our children's classes. If you have any ideas or Spanish-language material you would like to pass along, please contact mail@bchonduras.org.
